A grievance is any complaint, dissatisfaction, or concern you have about our products, services, platform, or conduct. A grievance is more formal than a routine customer service query and signifies that you feel your rights have been violated or your concerns have not been adequately addressed.
A grievance can be raised for:
- A product or service issue that was not resolved by our regular customer support team
- A situation where you feel our response was unfair, incorrect, or delayed
- An allegation of unfair trade practice or misleading advertisement
- A concern about data privacy or misuse of your personal information
- A dispute about refund, return, or cancellation that was rejected and you disagree with
- A complaint about delivery fraud, wrong product, or tampered product that was not addressed
- Any conduct by our delivery partners or customer support agents that was unprofessional or harmful
- Complaints about billing, pricing, or hidden charges
All grievances are classified into the following categories to ensure they are routed to the correct team and resolved most efficiently:
Subject format: “Formal Grievance — [Category] — [Order ID] — [Your Name]”
WhatsApp: +91 6284776780 (Mon–Sat, 9 AM–7 PM IST)
To ensure your complaint is processed quickly and accurately, please include all of the following when submitting your grievance:
Formal
Grievance — [Category Letter] — [Order ID] — [Your
Name]Example: Formal Grievance — A — TOT-123456 — Rahul Sharma
The moment your complaint is received, the following happens automatically within our system:
- Your complaint is logged in our Grievance Register with a date-and-time stamp.
- A unique Complaint Reference Number (CRN) is generated. Format:
TOT-GRV-XXXXXXXX - The complaint is categorised (A through I) and assigned to the appropriate team member or directly to the Grievance Officer for complex cases.
- An acknowledgement message is sent to you via Email and/or WhatsApp, containing your CRN and the expected resolution timeline.
- If the complaint involves an urgent situation (food safety, payment fraud, data breach), it is escalated to priority status immediately.
• Date and time of complaint registration
• Category your complaint has been assigned to
• Name of the team member handling your complaint
• Expected resolution date (within 30 calendar days)
• Instructions on how to track your complaint status
If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 48 business hours, please follow up via WhatsApp with the message: “Grievance follow-up — [Your Name] — [Order ID] — sent on [date]”. Alternatively, escalate directly to the NCH at 1800-11-4000.
